Welcome to ABSL Construction.  Our firm, which is locally owned and operated, has its headquarters in Hayward, California.  We also have satellite offices in Sacramento and Fresno, CA.  At the Hayward headquarters we own, operate, and maintain the most extensive fleet of ashalt grinding equipment in Northern California.

We have grown over the years and now comprise a team of over 60 dedicated professionals.  Our focus is ashalt grinding and we have literally been involved with thousands of miles of roadwork in Northern and Southern California.

ABSL Construction (hereinafter ABSL) was started by civil engineers Mr. Luis Allende and Mr. Bernard Saggese in 1991. The company started out with concrete work and traffic control. During the mid 1990s it began its milling service which today is the largest part of the business. During 200 Mr. Allende bought out his partner Mr. Saggese. The main office is located in Hayward in the Bay Area and satellite offices in Sacramento and Fresno. From its base in the Bay Area ABSL operates primarily in the central and northern California, but has also undertaken work in Southern California and Nevada. The majority of ABSL contracts are public contracts. 3-5% of the contracts are private. Since the start in 1991 ABSL have continued to grow and have always been profitable.

ABSL operates within the construction industry, were the company contracts its heavy duty operational equipment and crews to highway, airport runways, street and road construction projects. Airport runways have become one specialty. At some occasions ABSL has been working at San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose airports at the same day.
